A Spy Like Me sneak peek and cover reveal! And a giveaway!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Lots going on today.

So I finally picked a date! A Spy Like Me will be officially released on May 7th, 2012. Woo hoo!

Seventeen-year-old Savvy Bent expects magic on her first date with Malcolm – in Paris! Except over a picnic of sparkling cider and strawberry tarts, a sniper shoots at them. That’s only the beginning. From the top of the Eiffel Tower to the depths of the catacombs, Savvy must sneak, deceive, and spy to save her family and friends and figure out whether Malcolm is the one of the bad guys before she completely falls for him. Or he tries to snuff her out.

Heather McCorkle of CP Designs helped me with it! Check her out.

Here’s the sneak peek of A Spy Like Me:

I’m assuming I’m a little early to see the cover on YA Confidential…
I’ll be away from a computer during the whole week of your launch otherwise I’d put it up on launch day and help you spread the joy. 🙁
Oh and I’m an Aussie, so I’m out for the giveaway but I’m still happy to help out where I can.

If I could go anywhere on a mission, it would be a remote island and the mission would be to live forever in happiness and marry a very hot man.

    (Talk about fiction!)

Thanks so much for the opportunity! 🙂

Why has your blog disappeared from my Reader roll? This is crazy! And very disappointing. Anyway, where’s the cover? I don’t see it here, and I’m so curious!

Yay for you, and all the best of luck with this AWESOME story~ :o) <3 ((hugs))

    • Laura March 5, 2012 at 5:03 pm #

      Hey Leigh,

If you followed my blog through GFC then that’s why my blog is gone! you’ll have to follow through a reader! Now I just need to get rid of the GFC followers badge since it’s basically useless.

  14. Christina Kit. March 5, 2012 at 4:49 pm #

Or maybe Spain! Spain would be gorgeous for being a spy in:) Same kind of mission (jewels, artifacts, a stolen painting!!) and again a totally hot guy

    I loved the cover!

i think i’d want to go on a mission somewhere tropical but I have no idea what kind of missions I’d want. Maybe something having to do with jewels or something like that. My favorite spy books are the Gallagher Girls books by Ally Carter : )

Just saw the cover, Laura. Really like it, and loved the excerpt as well. I’m not a big YA readers, but I really like your writing style. As for doing an undercover mission, I’d have to say Paris or Rome. I might get lost basking in all the historical wonder, though.

Congrats on the release date. Would love to have you back on the blog to help promote!

  19. Jenny Lundquist March 6, 2012 at 12:39 am #

Congrats Laura! Heading over to check out the excerpt…
